Kelsa carefully sat up on her cot, keeping her scored arm cradled against her stomach. It still hurt badly and she couldn't move her arm much, but she was tired of being bedridden. Surely she could rest just as easily in her own weyr as down in the infirmary. A change of scenery would be nice too. She felt like she was going to go out of her mind. S'ven watched his lover timidly sit up and looked around like she wanted to move and get around. He sighed wishing he could help her deal with this but it would take a while for her arm to be back to fall power. He slowly walked over to her and sat on the cot.

"Hello..." He said with a small smile. Kelsa looked up, her face lighting up when she saw S'ven.

"Hello," she said cheerily. Seeing S'ven was the one thing she looked forward to every day. She missed seeing her dragon too. She at least wasn't in constant pain like she had been. Although it still hurt to move too much. She didn't know what kind of damage had been done to her arm. She was just grateful she could still move it.

"How are you feeling?" He wondered already knowing that she wanted out of the infirmary after two sevendays. He smiled a little and lent out and stroked her hair out of her face, he had braided her hair yesterday but it was starting to escape from his ha hazard braid.

"I'm feeling better. My arm still hurts if I'm not careful, but I'm feeling stronger and very bored," she answered, closing her eyes at his gentle touch. He had done so much for her and she found it sweet. She cared deeply for the blue rider. "I'm sure I look a fright." The man shrugged, it didn't both him that she looked like a fight.

"Perhaps but you are my fright." He said firmly with a smirk. He leant forward and kissed her forehead. "I know you are bored but what would you be doing if you could get out of here?" He wondered. She blushed a bit but smiled.

"Nice choice of words blue rider," she whispered. Shards, was there anything not perfect about him? She went to shrug a shoulder but stopped herself. "I don't know, but a change of scenery would be nice."

"I have learnt that a choice of words and thinking about my words help." He grinned and moved back from her a little to look at him. "How healed are you? Can you actually move that arm?" He asked softly starting to think if she could use the arm maybe Nikolai and Terliyn would let her out if she came to stay with him just for a little bit. She chuckled softly.

"Well, it has served you well in this instance." Kelsa looked up at him as he moved back a bit. "A little bit," she said, lifting her arm slightly and wiggling her fingers. "My grip is still weak and I can't lift my arm past my stomach. Any higher and it hurts. And I can't straighten it completely yet," she admitted. He frowned, that wasn't good in his opinion. She would have to have lots of therapy on the arm to be able to get it back to fall strength.

"Have they asked you about therapy?" He wondered softly looking at her. "Are you healing?" Were the scores at least healing okay?

"They've mentioned it, but we haven't talked about when to start," she admitted. Kelsa carefully moved her uninjured arm to push the billowy sleeve up on her injured arm. Scores still crisscrossed her skin, but new skin was slowly taking its place. "It still looks awful," she whispered. Her perfect skin was now marred beyond belief. The blue rider smiled calmly, he had his share of scars. They didn't both him at all.

"Still beautiful Kels... scars don't change that at all." He promised stroking her cheek. "Next time you see them ask and tell them you are staying with me." She looked up at him, hating how her arm looked. She had never been one to put much stock in looks, but she knew it looked pretty ugly. "

"Thank you," she whispered. She had needed to hear that. She perked up at his next words. "Really?" she asked hopefully. He laughed and lent out kissing her forehead again.

"Kels when you are better I will kiss every single scar once you are better." He assured seeing her perk up. "It's nothing more than staying. Once you can move that arm you are on your own," He teased with a grin. She giggled a bit. She would like to see that and she did not doubt that he would. He was just that kind of person. She pulled a face, her eyes dancing.

"Sure, just kick me out," she teased back. S'ven smiled kissing her lips softly.

"It is a promise." He assured softly. She gave him a gentle smile.

"How did I manage to meet such a nice rider?" she asked softly. S'ven was so kind and understanding. The man shook his head.

"I am not so nice... I've lost a lot of people through being a wherhead and i have a green rider who won't let me go." He muttered making himself sound bad on purpose. He didn't want to hurt her. Kelsa narrowed her pretty eyes.

"If you're trying to scare me off it's not going to work," she said, reaching out with her good hand to touch his cheek.

"I don't want to scare you... I love you Kels." He said gently and smiled softly. If she thought him perfect he thought her more than perfect back it was a relationship that he felt equal in and that suited him fine.

"Scare me?" she asked softly, looking into his eyes. "How could you scare me?" Her eyes widened slightly. 'You love me?" He had never actually told her that before. They still kept separate weyrs and she hadn't been sure if he loved her. She knew he cared for her.

"Of course, I do daft girl." He murmured blushing at her wide-eyed look. She moved to where she could lean against him, being careful not to move too quickly.

"I love you too." She just hadn't known if he would ever say those words or not.

"Doesn't mean you are moving in though." He laughed teasing still. It wasn't that he didn't want her to it was because he didn't want to be hurt again.

Kelsa rolled her eyes. 'Did I say anything about moving in?" she asked innocently. She knew he wouldn't want to do that and she wouldn't push it. S'ven just smirked hiding the intense emotions he was feeling inside. Once she was better they would talk about it more but until then he could look after her.
