Who: Terliyn and Talomin

Talomin frowned as he studied the piece of leather he was working with. It just wasn't cooperating. he had never had trouble making a belt before, but today nothing was working right. he grabbed his knife and worked on cutting off just about an inch. The knife suddenly clattered to the floor as Talomin gasped in pain. Blood slid down his hand as he closed his hand tightly. Somehow he had slipped and sliced his palm. Although he couldn't figure out how.

Talomin felt a bit light headed as he kept his fist clenched. Now wasn't the time to figure out how he had done it. He needed to get it cleaned and taken care. The young man slowly made his way to the infirmary, not sure if it would require stitches or not. Terlkiyn looked up as someone walked in, her eyes widened as she realised it was her husband, She crossed the infirmary looked worried.

"What you do?" She wondered softly. Talomin looked up at his wife sheepishly.

"Knife slipped and I caught my hand," he answered. He could feel his heartbeat in his hand now and knew that wasn't good.

"Silly husband." Terliyn moved him to sit on a cot and quickly scrubbed her hands in redwort. She moved to sit down next to him and slowly undone his hand to look at the wound.

"I know," he tried to smile. Didn't make it any better. He hissed in pain as she uncurled his fingers. The woman smiled at him as she started to press a cloth to the cut to stem it a little before she started to sew it.

"I got you." She laughed trying to keep him calm.

"Ow," he grumbled as she cleaned his hand. He turned away not wanting to watch what she was doing. He could feel it and it hurt. The woman smiled a little as she saw him look away. She pressed harder before quickly sewing him up and putting numbweed on it.

"Better?" She wondered. He finally let out the breath he had been holding when she applied the numbweed.

"Yes," he said in relief. Terliyn lent down brushing a kiss to his wrist.

"Good..." She grinned at him.

A smile slowly spread across his face. "My little healer, " he whispered.

"There is nothing little about me at the moment." She said pressing her shirt flat to show her bump.

Talomin smiled. "But your perfect to me. And before long Lea will have a little brother or sister. " Terliyn smiled at the man knowing he was just happy that the baby was his for sure. No Anious involved.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, wanting to take his mind off his injured hand. Not to mention he wanted to make sure his wife was okay. The woman smiled at his questions. He was worrying, last time he hadn't been around at this stage.

"We are fine." She assured softly.

He flushed a bit. "Sorry. I know you take care of yourself. " he reached up to touch her cheek. "I love you." Terliyn smiled.

"I live you more and I know you are worrying because this is the first time you have seen me like that in the mornings." Sure the morning sickness was horrible in the mornings but now by lunch time she was feeling better.

He hated that he hadn't been there for her during her pregnancy with Lea. He also tried really hard not to think about it as he knew where she was during that time. "As long as you're sure." Terliyn smiled sadly as she saw the emotions flicker across his features. She knew what he was thinking.

"Its all ours." She murmured moving hus hand from her cheek to her small bump.

Talomin tried not to think about that time. He put a smile on his face, not wanting to be upset. "Never doubted that," he whispered.

"I'm just making sure." She whispered kissing his temple softly.

He gave her a gentle smile. "Sorry if I worried you," he whispered. He hadn't meant to let those emotions come to light. Terliyn smiled and shook her head, she didn't want to huge anything. Everything should be out in the open between them.

"Tal... Ask questions let it come to light." She whispered kissing him softly again.

Talomin looked up at his wife. "Guess I just don't know much about pregnancy," he admitted. He was worried about her but didn't even know what was normal.

"I know... You weren't here last time but the morning sickness is okay." She assured softly stroking her finger across his stubbled cheek.

He nodded a bit. "If you say so. I wouldn't know. I am just glad you are okay. " he closed his eyes at her gentle touch. She lent forward and kissed his lips softly.

"Go rest my love." She told him leaning back looking at him carefully. He looked unsure.

Talomin hated to leave her. "How much longer is your shift?" He asked. He couldn't go back to his trade with his injured hand. Terliyn smiled a little more.

"A few candelmarks." She was on shift to after Dinner when Thalia took over.
He nodded a bit.

"Alright. I can get Lea if you like," he offered. He wasn't sure he would sleep anyhow.

"Both of you go to sleep." She hinted with a wink at him. "You can't do anything with that hand."

He pulled a face but then smiled. "Alright,." He leaned over and kissed her. "I'll see you later." Terliyn smiled back and laughed at the look on his face. She stroked his hair out of his face and kissed him back.

"I will sneak in and be quiet." She assured.

Talomin shook his head. "You can wake me," he whispered. He would rather she woke him. Terliyn smiled and stood up watching him.

"We shall see what time I get in." She said softly offering her hand.
