Analees yawned a bit as she curled up on the couch. Rosan had been reluctant to go to sleep before his dad was home, but he had finally worn himself out. Now though Analees was determined to talk to her mate. It felt like ages since they had had a chance to really talk.

V’ros swept in carrying a skin of wine and 2 bubbly pies. He grinned as he noticed the woman waiting but frowned at the yawn. He had not thought he was that late but maybe he was despite there being pies left that were still warm. “Pie?” He wondered.

Her eyes lit up when V'ros swept into the weyr. “I never say no to pie,” she smiled, pushing to her feet. She walked over to take one of the pies to freeze up his hands. “They smell wonderful.”

“I knew you would perk up at the suggestion of pies. Wine?” He wondered quietly as he held up the skin and poured his own mug as he needed to calm down after the wild afternoon he had. He took a bite of his pie as he hovered over pouring another wine for her.

“You know me so well,” she laughed. She loves pies. She slowly shook her head. She really wanted a glass of wine but didn't want to chance anything yet. “Better not.”

“I hope after five turns I know you well enough. Better not?” He wondered knowing there was an undertone to her comment. Something was not right but for the life of him he had no idea what it was.

Analees nodded. She still couldn't believe they had been together for five Turns and he had put up with all her craziness. She pressed her lips together as she considered how to answer that. “Remember when I was so sick just before you left?”

The man nodded and came around the living area to sit on the low table in front of him. “I do. You thought it was something you eat?” He said quietly putting his pie and mug down as he leaned forward to touch her cheek.

She had thought that. It made the most sense. Analess slowly looked up at his light touch on her cheek. “I did go to the healers,” she said softly. “they said…” she took a deep breath. “That it's very possible I'm pregnant,” she finished in a rush as she wiped at her tears. “I'm sorry. I must have…forgot something or messed up…somewhere. I've never done that….before.”

V’ros looked at the woman confused as she spoke getting more and more confused with what she was saying and more so when she burst into tears. “Whatever, are you crying for Ana?” He wondered softly stroking her cheek now wiping the tears away.

Analees bit her lip as she slowly looked up at her mate. “I'm scared,” she whispered, leaning into his touch. “I nearly died…with Ros.” Analees had filled V'ros in on some but not all of Rosan's birth.

V’ros leaned forward and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Then tell me everything and we can make a decision together. This is the Weyr and I am not going to force you to do anything unless you are completely onboard with it Ana.” He reminded her gently as he kissed her forehead wanting to remind her that he was there.

She managed a shaky smile at his words. She should have known V'ros would be there no matter what. Analess sniffled a bit. “Rosan was turned the wrong way. We both would have died if not for Terliyn.”

“Why did you never tell me any of this?” He wondered pulling back a little as he heard the table protest at his bulk on it. He shifted to kneel in front of her.

Analees shrugged a shoulder. “I don't know,” she said softly. “When Ros was born all I could think about was getting back to you,” she whispered, sniffing a little. She looked up at him. “I know I should have told you, but now…” she trailed off. She was terrified to have a second child.

The man felt the uneasy feeling of guilt in his stomach as he looked down at her. Even kneeling in front of her he was still taller. “And I should have asked… “ He whispered opening her legs a little to gather her down onto his keeping her close. “You do not need to do this.”

She shook her head. He had taken care of her and been there for her. “I thought I was okay,” she whispered, shifting close to his chest. “And I was til…” Analees shivered a bit. “It all came flooding back.” She looked up at him in surprise. “You would be okay with that?” She asked softly.

He smiled at the surprise on her face and stroked her cheek with his rough thumb. “I will be happy with whatever you choose Ana. I want you in my life, happy and whole. Women go take a trip between often, whether its because they are not ready, they simply do not want to or health. This is not a place where you are judged.” He soothed.

She leaned into his gentle touch, not caring that his skin was rough. It was V'ros and that's all she cared. Analees gave him a gentle smile. She did know that after being in the Weyr for Five Turns. “Thank you. I mean I love having Ros and couldn't imagine not having him, but…” she shook her head. She didn't know if she wanted a second one.

“But nothing. You set the pace my love and I will follow your choice but I do not need you doing anything you do not want to because you think I want another child. I am a rider and never thought I would have my son in my life daily, you have already given me the greatest gift other than having you in my life.” The man whispered, moving her closer again as he moved her hands to his hips.

Analees smiled slightly. She should have known V'ros would be supportive no matter what. This wasn't Dragon Hold. And she knew that Rosan had so many children to play with that he wasn't in want of anything. “I love you,” she whispered, as he shifted her hands.

“And I know you Ana.” The Weyrlingmaster assured quietly. “Sleep on this and we can talk as much as you want around this.” He gently kissed her softly knowing that no matter what, he was there for her.

she nodded with a smile. “Thank you. I would like that.” She didn't want to rush this discussion and hopefully, after talking with V'ros she would be more clear on what she wanted to do.

“Maybe talk to a mind healer or Terliyn and discuss what happened, too.” He offered, thinking of what he would advise a Weyrling who has come to the Weyr with trauma or issues. He wanted nothing but the best for her and more.

Analees nodded. “That might be a good idea,” she agreed. She hadn’t thought about tha,t but it did make sense. She laid her head against his shoulder, just wanting to be close.

“How can I help right this moment?” He wondered quietly running his fingers through her hair. He wanted to help and do the right thing in that moment to help her get some rest and assure her that everything would be okay.

She gave him a smile as she leaned close to him. “You are helping,” she promised, starting to calm down a bit. She wasn't freaking out like she had been. They would figure this out together.
